Later, they located the four patients who were admitted to Shree Hospital. “The doctors confirmed that two minors and two women were admitted on Monday. Three of them have been discharged and the fourth was to be discharged on Saturday evening,” said Kale.

He added that the patients had to be convinced to to lodge a complaint. “Finally, a woman patient agreed to lodge a complaint. The hospital too gave in writing that they were admitted due to food poisoning. “The unidentified accused stall vendor escaped after an anti-encroachment drive by Panvel civic body. We shall inform FDA officials about the incident,” said.
